Comprehensive Oral Examination is a procedure which involves examination of oral soft and hard tissues to assess Oral health along with dietary assessment to diagnose dental diseases.



B. Oral Prophylaxis


Oral Prophylaxis is a procedure done for teeth cleaning. It removes tartar and plaque build-up from the surfaces of the teeth as well as those hidden in between and under the gums. The dentist uses a scaler, a type of hand instrument, to remove the plaque and tartar which causes inflammation resulting in bleeding gums and infections around teeth.



C. Fissure sealants


Fissure sealants is a preventive procedure for teeth with deep fissures to prevent food lodgment to reduce the risk of caries formation.Sealant is most commonly applied to the grooves, known as fissures, and pits of the back molars. These are the most common locations for cavities in the teeth.


Fissure sealants are a white or clear composite resin, similar to a white tooth filling. The sealants provide a barrier against bacteria that can cause plaque. They are designed to prevent tooth decay and cavities.

A. Dental Fillings


Dental Fillings is a procedure which involves removing decay from tooth structure or repairing fractured tooth structure using Amalgam (metal) or composite (tooth colored resin material) with or without the use of local anaesthesiato restore the tooth structure.


B. Dental Extractions


Dental Extractions is a procedure that involves removal of one or more teeth under local anaesthesia if the tooth cannot be saved by dental treatment. There are many reasons for a tooth to be extracted some reasons may include decay/ infection or orthodontic reasons.



C. Dental Veneers


Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelainlaminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of theteeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.


D. Dental Crowns


A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.There are usually recommended to reinforce tooth structure if the structural integrity is compromised either due to large restoration with history of fracture or after root canal treatment.



E. Removable partial dentures


Removable partial dentures are prosthesis to replace missing or lost teeth to restore function and aesthetics of your teeth.These dentures are not fixed and require rinsing after meals to remove food particles lodge between the denture and teeth.


F. Dental Implants


A dental implant is a piece of metal that looks like a screw. It is put into the jaw where the missing tooth’s roots were. Over time, bone grows around the implant, which helps to hold it in place.


An artificial tooth, or crown, is then attached to the metal to fill in the gap left by the missing tooth. The crown is specially made to look like your other teeth in size, shape and colour.Dental implants can also be used to hold a dental bridge or dentures in place.
